August 2010 Our Auction Sale was a tremendous success! Thanks to the knowledge, professional, helpful, courteous and efficient Auctioneers, Staff & Workers. The advertising (catalogues, posters, Internet and newspapers) was colorful, appealing, well displayed and far reaching, as people attended from B.C., AB, SK, & MB. At one point telephone bidding was employed. Advice, organization and positioning of machinery, tools & miscellaneous was helpful, unique & strategic to the volume of items that were sold quickly, orderly and in a professional manner. Extras (but neccessities) like trailers, transportation, toilets, computer tabulations, as well as a red and white dress code of the Balicki staff contributed to the excellent manner in how the Auction was conducted. Sincere thanks and appreciation to the Harvey & Maxine Auction Team for a job well done. It was a caring and sharing effort with a huge scope of awareness for everyone involved. We must say that once again you and your staff have proven to be a very capable team to do the job. We have attended many of your auctions and you have solidly confirmed that you and your staff are professionals, are very knowledgable and have great organizational skills to conduct sales large or small. Your helpful suggestions as to the grouping and arranging items in preparation for the sale were much appreciated. Your experience and that of your staff is very apparent in your patience and rapport with the auction audience. Because of your approachability and your psychological understanding of human behaviour you very aptly accommodated the requests of individuals seeking information or wishing to have an item put on the auction block sooner for one reason or another. Because of your dependability and trustworthiness we felt very confident that you were able to take control and to conduct an excellent sale which you did. You and your staff must be commended for your physical appearance. Many a time we've heard "How do they keep those white shirts so clean -- working in the dust, rust, oil, grease, and grime?" Efficiency is evident. You are able to move right along without any hitches in the time that you have alloted for yourself. Your clerking staff, too, must be commended for their recording and efficient manner in dealing with the billing of numerous customers. April 2010 We would like to say a big Thank You to Harvey Balicki and the Balicki Auction crew for a very successful sale we had on April 28, 2010. It was a farm auction plus one quarter of land was sold. We chose Balicki Auctions as he did some previous auctions for our family and one for us on our mechanical & welding shop. We found he got good prices for our merchandise. They are very honest, hard working and did bring us satisfactory results. They are very professional, pleasant and prompt in all aspects of the sale and on sale day. They're advertising program is excellent. The success of our Auction Sale made the move from Snow Castle Lodge to private life a very easy and enjoyable one. The fact that this was a very successful auction can be attributed in large measure to your personal efforts in guiding us throughout the weeks leading up to "the big day"! 2006 Harvey & Staff: “Awesome Job” We want to thank you so much for making our auction such a “Success” -- Not only in “Sales” but for your “Professionalism”, your “Organizing” & overall “Smoothness” of the whole day & the days that led up to the Sale! This was a Very Difficult time for us with respect to the “Hook Farm” being the homestead & my father & Ted working so closely with all that equipment over all those years. 2005 To Balicki Auctions, I can heartily recommend Balicki Auction services to anyone in the Prince Albert area. Harvey and his staff treated my father’s possessions with the utmost care and attention. I never felt like it was junk to them. They were thorough and professional in every manner. They took time to catalogue the machinery in my Dad’s garage and posted pictures on the internet. They also put advertising up and advised me on what was happening every step of the way. I didn’t believe Harvey at first when he said “don’t worry, it’s all gonna go”. But he was right. It all got sold and at prices I was very happy with. The people at the auction all seemed to enjoy themselves too. I received lots of feedback about the sale and compliments as well. It was an event I initially feared but now look back on with satisfaction. When asked for advice by others on having an auction, I will send them to Harvey with full confidence. Thanks again.
